Falco is a self - taught young artist coming from Annecy, French Alps.
At the age of 15 to 18, he first started to spread his nick FALCO through custom stickers or t-shirts and ended up into a graphic design / art degree. After that, he joined a fine art school that he left 3 weeks later because he was too frustrated to have teachers holding the top of his pen while he creates. He feels the need to express himself without filters and share his work otherwise than through a screen. That's how he came to cut out his first stencil and made his firsts pschitt-pschitt in the street in 2019.
Involved, he speaks mainly by cutting drawings from paper but also through anything he gets his hands on by shaking up codes, updating iconic images with a wry, satirical or quizzical tone. Fascinated by conceptual art and Duchamp’s ready-mades, he loves to play with the definition of art : What makes art ? What are its limits ?
